I was referred by The Providence Center. They recommended Cookie Place because it’s a place where people with disabilities go to work, get better and hopefully move on. I like serving the food -- the food is good -- and I like serving people, talking to them. I may not be as fast with the food as I am supposed to be but I do like my job! Here, they look at you as less of a worker and more of a human. Say you had a bad morning but, at Cookie Place, we understand each other because we all know what we are going through mentally. So we cheer each other up and just try to do a good job.
