 I found out about Cookie Place, mostly through my counselor at Gateway Mental Health Center. I met Ray DePasquale, the Executive Director, and because of my many years in the food service industry he hired me on the spot.
What I like most of all about working at Cookie Place is that everybody treats me very nicely and that’s terribly important and hasn’t always happened at work at various places. I haven’t always been treated well by managers or coworkers and here I’m treated well by everybody. The Cookie Place is so important and beneficial to so many people. I don’t agree in cutting things out where so many people benefit, nothing is to be gained in that and no money is saved from that either. |
